Farewell summer frogs.
Tad & Polli and friends assisted with many promotions during summer, 2016.
Ingram’s Magazine named Trezo Mare among the winners of its “2016 Best of Business Kansas City” list for outdoor dining. Each year Ingram’s turns to their readers to vote their favorite in several categories. We’re honored to be among the winners and wish to thank Ingram’s and voters. We recently held a promotion after reaching 6000 Facebook likes. As a gesture of gratitude, owner Mike Lee decided to give away a 4-course dinner for two at the chef's counter, wine pairing included. When Mike announced that 2 winners would be chosen, Carol V. chose to thank Mr. Lee in a clever and fun way.
Thank you Mr. Lee! When I saw the contest posting with your name mentioned, the “Mr. Lee” song started repeating in my head. The lyrics seemed appropriate so I decided to post it. My friends and I do happy hour there a lot, especially when we can sit out on the patio. So, thanks again. Mr. Lee, Mr. Lee, Oh Mr. Lee, Mr. Lee, Mr. Lee, Oh Mr. Lee... --Carol V.

These folks are on to something: The color of black rice is the result of plant pigments called anthocyanins, which research has linked to a number of positive health effects: from anti-inflammatory properties to healthier arteries and better insulin regulation.
